Digital retailer takes Heywood warehouse
Digital fashion and homeware retailer N Brown has taken a new warehouse in Heywood, Manchester.

THE RETAILER has secured a ten year lease from landlord Colliers Global Investors on Link95 at Hareshill Distribution Park.
The 95,980 ft2 property was previously occupied by international herb and spice manufacturer McCormick owners of the Schwartz brand. McCormick had taken a taken a 10-year lease on the property in 2019 as an additional distribution space to its manufacturing facility in Rochdale but announced that it would consolidate to a state of the art facility in Peterborough in 2020 over a two-year period.
Manchester-based N Brown took the unit prior to it becoming vacant. N Brown Head of Workplace, Facilities and Engineering Ken Mellis said: “Our aim is to ensure that N Brown customers are provided an outstanding customer service proposition through our supply chain operations. Link95 meets our needs for the handling of our homeware product and, with unrivalled access to the motorway network in the north, as well as easy access to our head office in Manchester city centre and our main distribution site in Shaw.”
Link95 has 90,720 of warehouse space and 4,560 ft2 of first floor office space. It has 12m eaves as well as 10 dock and two level access doors, a 50kN/m floor loading and a 60m deep yard. It was developed by Aviva Investors and Graftongate.
Link95 was previously occupied by McCormick’s with, signing up for a new lease with.
